Lightweight background job queue for the WPZylos framework. Uses a producer-consumer pattern backed by WordPress database tables with WP-Cron processing.

Installation

composer require wpdiggerstudio/wpzylos-queue

Quick Start

use WPZylos\Framework\Queue\Job;
use WPZylos\Framework\Queue\Queue;

class SendWelcomeEmail extends Job
{
    public function handle(): void
    {
        $userId = $this->data['user_id'];
        // Send welcome email logic...
    }
}

// Dispatch a job
$queue = $container->get(Queue::class);
$queue->push(new SendWelcomeEmail(['user_id' => 42]));
